What's not fun about a 3D zombie wave survival game
Oh yeah, nothing

Also, think L4D and L4D2 only with a more arcade feeling to it.

All games mentioned in these quotes are worthwhile games to be playing with friends yes

Just don't expect any bugs or balance issues to be fixed for a loooong time. Tripwire Interactive is working on a sequel to their other series, Red Orchestra, at the moment which they have devoted 100% of their efforts to working on. They did this right after an update that left the game in a fragile and unbalanced state.

It wasn't a very wise decision.

I haven't run into any bugs myself.

Balance issues are more of a problem. I can guarantee you that I am not the first person to notice them, KF's community has been in a steep decline since the "Level Up" update was released. Most of the official forums have just devolved into whining about how everything is broken and how Tripwire is doing nothing to fix it, and true enough Tripwire has made no effort to address their complaints, let alone give an ETA for a update or fix.

It becomes more evident when you aren't playing with friends, and REALLY evident when you read any forum that discusses KF.

I for one, can beat all the levels on normal by myself, unless I'm not using my favorite class, since I'm not use to the weapons, like firebug. I'm also always playing with friends anyways so.
Spoiler: show
Maybe you should get more friends to play so you don't have to worry about the balance issue.

Also, think L4D and L4D2 only with a more arcade feeling to it.

It also has ridiculous enemy placement.

One time I was playing with bros on this gladiator arena map and when we reached 8th wave, like 8 fleshpounds (think tanks from L4D) fell out from the sky and surrounded us. Guess how long we lived after that?
To tell you the truth i've nevereven looked at a discription of that game, but if it's got zombie's and blood, it sounds good to me.

Out of curiosity, would you say it's better than the left 4 dead's or about equal?

Anywho, i'll get it when I get more moniez.

Killing Floor is shooting at zombies in waves while L4D actually has you walking from A to B to C to D. The games offer completely different gameplay experiences so you can't really compare them apart from both having zombies and guns, because else they're pretty different. (Unless you're just gonna go get l4d/2 and play survival mode forever and ever)

I myself prefer l4d/l4d2. Killing Floor is really fun with 3 or more people but it doesn't seem to be quite as awesome. It's still pretty good and cheap though.

Technically Killing Floor doesn't even have zombies, but instead genetically modified clones. KF has higher replay value and slightly more strategic approaches to handling enemies, but involves less teamwork, looks less professional and isn't anywhere near as gory as L4D2.

Idk, killing floor is fine with me with any amount of players.

If you play with more then just yourself, you need teamwork to kill the higher amount of enemies.

I Like that you have to use teamwork on the harder difficulties of L4D/L4D2, I also like the point A to B factor as well, it makes me feel more like i'm doing something with a purpose.(Thought if L4D/L4D2 had more open sandbox style mapping, i'd be even happier.)

But like i said might as well give KF a try seams kool enough.(Even thought it as less gore =( )

i like how dude is the only one that can server properly
and doesn't generate lag every time he has more than six players
and isn't dumb enough to blame the server being made of cardboard and tape on a certain player
and doesn't get **** mods
72downs sure would be a fitting name

New idling method discovered for TF2. Steam forums thread was deleted so here's a facepunch link instead: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=908933
