The Great Big ol' E3 Thread
« on: July 11, 2008, 10:53:50 PM »
[center:3vwzyx66][/center:3vwzyx66]

Since E3 is getting closer and closer (This Monday) and about more than half of this forum is filled with gamers, such as myself, I figure it would be a good idea to place all discussions about E3 goodness in this thread, so as to avoid a bunch of topics at once when E3 hits. This includes discussions about new game announcements, news, and E3 itself. Also, E3 is where I'm going to have spasms over the supposed reveal of Kid Icarus Wii by Nintendo, Have at it!

BTW: Castlevania Judgement, MadWorld, and Doom 4. 'Nuff said.

EDIT: IGN has set up a live webcast for E3 again this year so you can watch the show LIVE. I suggest you check it out! :)

Same here... we're about due for a new Zelda... one on Wii and DS, and not just ports of each other, and have Wii/DS connectivity, I'm also hoping for voice chat and a storage solution. :)

(Different Wii Point card values would be nice too... instead of the same old 2000 like always, would be nice to have 1000, 5000, etc.)

I'll care about Zelda again when they start making more 2D top-down ones without stupid gimmicky things and actual gameplay. 3D is geting boring for Zelda. No, I don't CARE that you have to beat Ganon again. I just want a good game again.

Megaman 9 info pls. Or maybe Legends 3.. even though it'll be hard to make one based on Megaman's position at the end of 2.

Hooray for more tedious Platform jumping!
Darnit Nintendo, obscure games are obscure for a reason. Let Sakurai go crazy over them if he wants to, but for Pete's sake, you don't have to follow suit!

Yeah Nintendo's getting really close to my last nerve.

AKA their last chance to keep a shred of respect from me.

Also likely to be the last game I'll ever buy from them, Obviously ROMs wouldn't count as you don't BUY those.

Nintendo Press Conference Highlights
-Animal Crossing: City Folk
-WiiSpeak (Voice Chat)
-Grand Theft Auto DS
-Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades (With song sharing between the two versions.)
-Wii Sports Resort
-WiiMusic Officially Announced

...
...
...

Not much else, we'll most likely hear more announcements from Nintendo as E3 goes on.
The conference was honestly kinda disappointing IMO... can't wait until they finally reveal some hardcore games. (Kid Icarus, anyone?)
