A bit late, but check it.

The "Famitsu Award 2007" ceremony was held today in a Tokyo venue.

Miyamoto-san was so overwhelmed over all the different awards he won, including the MVP award. He was amazed at the praise that Wii Fit got. A good 30 years with Nintendo down the road, and this time was well spent. An amazing product like this was like a dream come true for him. His purpose in life, so he says. He also says thank you for the award that Mario got. A well-known and recognized character to everyone surely deserves an award, don't you think?

Some prestigious awards was already placed for the following games:
Monster Hunter Portable 2nd (PSP) and Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)

A list of other awards were mentioned.
I translated them as close to English titles as I could.

Award Title Hardware Publisher
Rookie Award Professor Layton series Nintendo DS Level 5
Best Hit Award Wii Sports Wii Nintendo
Innovation Award Wii Fit Wii Nintendo
Award of Excellence Mario Party DS Nintendo DS Nintendo
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP Square Enix
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Nintendo DS Nintendo
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness Nintendo DS Pokemon
 Lost Odyssey Xbox 360 Microsoft
Dragon Quest IV: Those Who are Shown the Way Nintendo DS Square Enix
Gears of War Xbox 360 Microsoft
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam PlayStation 3 Namco Bandai
MVP (Most Valuable Person) Shigeru Miyamoto (Nintendo)
Game Character of the Year Mario
Game Company of the Year Nintendo

The director of Super Mario Galaxy was there to accept his prize too.
2 people showed up on a TV monitor too, one of them praised Miyamoto, and the other one was getting a prize for Dragon Quest IV, but didn't attend the ceremony.

What you all think~? ^^;

Nah, Water Kirby. It's just a list of all the awards that were given out at the event. Also, it would be rather ridiculous if a company besides Nintendo won the innovation award. I mean, if the Wii and DS are not innovative, I don't know what is.

Well, you're on an internet forum, so reading is a bit of a necessity at times. It doesn't hurt to have it as a specialty.
