Do you know what would be helpful?
« on: May 16, 2008, 07:24:49 PM »
Uh, it is about the forum, and there is no "Forum Suggestion Thread." So, I was wondering if you could make it possible to Delete posts in your own topic that other people made that could be misleading, discouraging, or just plain spam. That way, it gives Mods a break from deleting people's posts and things that are wrong. I doubt you guys would do this but meh, it is a suggestion.

The only problem is that this power could be easily abused, causing a worse problem than the one trying to be avoided. Plus, there's the question of what is spam. This is why we have a staff in the first place, to deal with issues like this. This is just a power that is asking for trouble.

Moved to General Discussion, since this is actually an intelligent thread.

Times today are just as bad what with the video game market being made up of 80% first person shooters that are 80% brown and 20% black and 100% bloom.

Requesting move to "Ideas and Brainstorming".

My input: It's good enough that you have the ability to lock your own topics. Live with it.

This is a useless idea. Lets say I hate Yoshi skier. Whenever he posts in my topic, I delete it. What if it was constructive criticism? What if it was useful? I'm basically throwing a good post to waste; I can learn from those posts. And, this will lead to flamewars, everyone should have the same posting rights, like them or not.
