Do we want the greenish/yellow gameboy color or simple greyscale?

Greyscale would work fine. :)

Not wanting to complain, but I was totally confused about the layout of the supersmash graphic.  I finally figured it out, although it's still pretty strangely organized. Hopefully other people that decide to change it don't have as much trouble.
That was done to optimize gfx space.  It does make it hard for gfxpackers to use, so we should probably post a guide on how to do it.

As for the Pipe Minigame powerups, I honestly don't understand how a flipping Zap-Tap Badge (looks like one, at least) came out to a slowdown effect for the pipe... Personally, I think a vertically flipped speedup powerup changed red would suit it quite well, but that's just me.
Can you post the gfx you want to use for this?

And I've got a question about the kills in a row graphic.  What's the second ! block for?
That one is awarded for "environment" kills.  Every kill type has to have a space in this gfx file.  I don't think this specific one is ever displayed.

Personally, I liked the greenish/yellow.  It's what you used in the palette change you did, and I thought it looked awesome.

I've got a copy of the graphic at my house that's marked to separate all the different frames of it.
I think that might suffice to help some people out.

I'll be sure to bring them with me next time I'm here.

Oh, okay.

Here are a few new backgrounds. Sorry they all need to be doubled in size but I wanted to show them without taking too much space. Not the best, but I felt like scraping up some misc backgrounds from some games. Some I am not sure what to do since they are smaller than the SMW backgrounds.

Could you remove those foreground tiles from this background? Those are tiles that are in the tileset, and players could easily get confused by those tiles.

Yeah, that's better. It now looks like a part of the background.

Sorry to backtrack on you guys, but I just got here with the graphics I wanted to post up for Two52.

First off, the broken chunks for item breakable blocks.

Secondly, the suggestion for the powerup in the pipe minigame that slows the coin release speed.

You may wanna grab these quick. They're on ImageShack, since they blocked me from using PhotoBucket on here... dumbest block ever...

Even more backgrounds. Not all are from Mario games, but I am keeping an eye open for whatever might work.

Expect more in the future.

I am not sure if you were implying the top one is a kirby or not, either way I will add more kirby backgrounds if I see any that will work. We already have a few.

I meant the top one is the best out of your post. :D

I think Kirby BG's make great backgrounds for SMWar. :)
(I love the three that we already have.)
