SMW 1.8 Beta 1 GFX Thread

I created this thread for any GFX needed to be inserted into the next beta. GFX such as backgrounds being made and more animated tiles. I also created this thread to point out any graphical errors or requests so that they can be fixed or fulfilled.

We need more backgrounds in general even if they're just recolors. :P

I hope palette expansions count...


This is similar to the overalls colors. 1P, 3P, and 4P will get green (the same as the 2P's Team color) while 2P gets pink. It kinda ticks me off where I'm trying to make a skin of someone and they have a team color of something and then they have green somewhere else.

And 2 other things:
1. In the SMB3 tileset where they have that stailr block from SMB/Bounce Block-like tile, there's 2 of the same ones.
2. I'm not sure if you want to exactly add this (it's somewhat Mario related) but for tiles, you can add Doki Doki Panic's Phanto.

Should I create a list of characters there should be skins made of? It seems that a game like SMW works with just about any Nintendo character though. We should mention any skin errors as well or ones that probably shouldn't make the cut.

Seeing was was released in this beta, it was never resolved.

EDIT: We also should take in suggestions such as other pieces to the world map. Things like different ground, water, and scenery. As an example, I think we could use cacti and snow covered hill/bush things. I think a blackness for water would be neat as well. In case you want to portray a black hole or pit. That or stars. That would be neat as well.

I'd still like to see those clouds I ripped added in... then we could actually make a full SMB3 World 5 map.
