also the flames (the ones coming out of the cannons) don't die of a Statue Jump either.

Kuribo's Shoe + Red Note block don't seem to work very well when you try to jump onto it and fly off diagonally. It makes the sound but you don't get very far in most cases.

For whatever reason, hitting End crashes the editor for me. :(

Also, the Help menu says nothing on how to activate the block properties thing.



For fun I've recreated all the worlds in SMB3 as well as World e+ from SMA4. :3

Now to go back and actually write in the levels using my SMB3 maps. :D

By the way, how do I control what levels the "vehicles" send you to? I can't figure it out.

Ah, I see, but it took a bit of experimenting... "Stage Type" sounds a bit misleading. :X


Also, another thing with the suicide thing, you still die if you are standing still and repeatedly firing projectiles.

Most items disappear when hitting a tile that's has the tile type death. (ie lava) But shells don't.

Also, if you stand still for too long in a bonus house, the suicide timer will activate, but since you can't die, it'll just repeatedly play the death sound until you move.

So it sounds like you guys want the tanooki statue to kill rotodiscs and flame cannons?  Yes?

KingPepe, your kuribo's shoe image is broken so I'm not sure what you want fixed.

Some items don't die in lava like Kuribo's shoe.  I'm not sure why shells don't die.  I'll fix that.

Adding on to the thing about Fire Bars, it turns out the bots are actually attracted to them. :lol:


It's so attracted to it, it has no problem with trying to walk through a solid wall to reach it. :P


Also note that Bullet Bills happen to spawn where his face is. :P

I just can't stay away from maps that constantly spawn players inside solid tiles. This one I made seems to like spawning players in the solid tiles every single time. It makes it unplayable for the most part.

also seeing how Roto-Disks die permanently from the Tanooki Suit in SMB3, they should respawn again at one point like the piranha plants in SMWar.

A few more bot-related bugs...

~I have no idea how, but he managed to spawn not once but twice holding one of the stage items in White Sky. The item simply vanished and appeared in his arms as he poofed out of the spawn smoke.

~His entire strategy when I'm standing above him seems to be "jump repeatedly without moving". Unless of course, you stand near him (but still above him) at which point he will stand perfectly still and hope I won't see him. I got him to auto-suicide that way. :P

~His item strategy seems to be "run in its general direction without jumping". Not very helpful when the item is separated by no less than seven layers of solid stone block below him. :P

This is because the bot is trying to drop through the blocks but since it's solid, it won't let it. This was true in 1.7 too.

Also, bots seem to love Rotodiscs more then anything...they will constantly try to jump into it and even makes the rotodisc a bigger priority then killing other players.
