[GFX Underhaul] Super Mario War (8-bit)
« on: May 24, 2007, 06:01:03 AM »
Finally, for the few people that knew about it and were waiting for its release, here it is!
Super Mario War 8-Bit!
I did my best to keep this pack in the look I feel Mario War would've had using the tileset we have now.  It may not be the best-looking pack, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
Hopefully, other people like it too.

Hey, I didn't know about this, neither did i wait for it.
But i certainly liked it!
I never really played yoshi's island and super mario world(etc etc), so I never got used to that type of graphics. This pack reminds me of the SMB(1 2 3) originals that I really enjoyed, Thanks!

Fileden isn't working at the moment.

I feel like stickying this just because it's an actual comlpeted mod but then other people would cry about their's not being stickied.

Besides, if I did sticky it, I'd remember it when I come back. =P lol Jared

Also, off topic but doesn't the above poster's avatar look like Marisa's NAKED? HAWT *Shot*

I updated the pack, removing the bulk of the backgrounds folder, since I didn't meant to add that in there.
Also, here's an 8-bit Mario to tear up the new look with!

Side note - I know he looks like a friggin' zombie, but the skin comes out awesome in-game.

How do you put skins on the SMW game? I tried, and it didn't work. Sorry for asking this, but i'm a newbie.

No problem, Felix.  I only ask that you give credit if they're taken directly from this pack.
And Silver, in the folder GFX/skins, save the file there, but as a 24-bit .bmp file.  You'll find skins uploaded on here as PNG's because most places turn .bmp files into .jpg's for some reason.
Also, screenshots have been added to the first post.
