I guess if it means anything, I always kept a ZIP file of the latest Super Mario War and my old mod SMWarld this entire time in case I ever feel the need/nostalgia to play it (which I have a couple times). Still a fun and very solid fan game, I'm surprised it didn't pick up more. I think I agree Florian's death definitely had to do with it. Hell, I'm surprised Zelda Classic still has an active forum. Gaming has come so very far in the last ten years I'm surprised anyone has time for the massive amount of content available between PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Switch/Wii U/Wii/3DS/DS.
