tripartite colour imagination thread
« on: June 10, 2012, 04:05:31 PM »
This one day I asked Pepe to go draw up something (ANYTHING) with 3 colours i gave him and he drew me this

which appears to be some form of kappa punk from the hit game RIVER RANSOM

and then he asked me why i didn't make asking people to draw sprites using 3 colours a thread instead

so the rules are as follows:
you draw anything you want using the three colours the previous contributor provides and post it, then post a palette of your own for them to use. very simple premise. I am sure you understand.
If not, the following may help:

1. Take palette the last contributor person posts
2. Draw something with it (no anti-alias/opacity trickery that's cheating) - i personally think NES/famicom is optimal because it's tiny and doesn't take long
3. Post it, and post a palette of 3 colours for the next poster

because examples are amazing, pepe gave me the following palette like 10 minutes ago:

and i made this crying whale man

and this is the palette that i give whoever wants to

(third colour is white in case you can't see it on the board skin or something)

go go go

These looks really cool, and thanks for joining in! ^

(I took the liberty of fixing the links for you guys because the switch to smf made them not show up right)

Next:

by the way it is perfectly acceptable to comment if you so wish, it's not like a forum game per se (although spending 10 minutes on a quick drawing or a sprite or something is encouraged if you do wanna say something, I mean why not)
