When winning in Boxes minigam by having all 5 coins, all players have the death pic on the results.

I was playing classic, and suddenly the players started to walk backwards: I pressed left, it went left but it looked right!
Is this a bug or an unlockable?

im using the mac os version and seem to get alot of freezes compared to beta 1. it randomly freezes during gameplay. ive had it freeze on me in phanto, flags, ztar, cards, coins, kings hill & race. always jus random freezing. anyone else on the mac version have this problem?

I'm not sure if this is a bug because everytime I play Shy Guy Tag mode with points set to unlimited, I always lose everytime i get any 1-up mushroom. It also happens to the bots.

EDIT1: I also found some secrets in the game but they're in wrong places and i don't know what's going on
because i was playing at 500 fps.

(Minor Graphical Bug)
(Seriously, minor)
How to reproduce:  Start any map, press F1, then pause the game.
Witnessed effect:  The FPS details that are being given out are not cleared when the next frame is drawn, causing the effect of layers upon layers of text being drawn on top of each other.
How to fix(if you don't like suggestions like these, please notify) :   Add a new layer just for the FPS details and clear it out with every frame.  Or tell the game to make a .bmp of the current game screen and place the Pause screen + FPS details on an overlay while paused.

I found some scrap in the Powerup folder.


There are also a couple "copies" of RotoDiscs in the Hazards folder. Not sure whether or not they are supposed to be there.

Other players when you win in the Box Minigame has the death pictures, otherwise it does not make too much sense.

I noticed this playing boss mode:
Bosses are insta-killed by players using a star. I have yet to test this out with other items.
(I believe that the boss was the sledgehammer bro).

for the controls, mouse scroll left and mouse scroll right are no longer accepted, but they were in beta 1.

not that too many people actually use the mouse at all in their controls...

Some bugs from the Shy Guy Tag Mode:
  • I (P1) have 318 points, the winning points are set to 300. I can collect as much points as I want, nothing happens.
    But when a second guy (e.g. P3) collects 300 points, he does suddenly win - although the one who is winning should be me!
  • Another example. I play the unlimited mode. Normally the game should never end. But anytime somebody collects a 1-up, 2-up, 3-up or 5-up mushroom, the game ends. The one who collects the mushroom (in this case it's P1) dies and all players have the death pic on the winning screen - except the mushroom collector. He has the winning frame. He is also at the last place, all his points are lost and the last score digit of him is missing.

EDIT: Another bug: If you set the Swap Style to Instant, and then get a Mystery Mushroom, the swap sound is missing.

...So today I was compiling SMW from the source that I fetched from the SVN repository. (Note: I'm using Arch Linux.) So I run a simple ./configure, and everything is fine, but when I run make, it tells me something about missing "SDL_mixer.h". That's okay, I simply had to get the SDL_mixer binary and put "SDL_mixer.h" in the _src directory of SMW. But then, I ran make again and got the following error:

I managed to fix this by changing line 631 in "map.cpp":

In other words, add a simple cast.

When I press the K button to edit Block Properties, it result in [s:s4tas2y3]a game crash[/s:s4tas2y3] nothing. wut ?
