oh, yeah defitely, general relativity is such a common subject to be taught during 5th grade. espacialy here in america. though, i did learn about black holes from documentaries my dad showed me, but i never heard anything about white holes. also no where in that article are white "holes" mentioned, the closest thing was a  "wormhole" EDIT: I found this article though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_hole It's actualy very interesting.

actually no, a wormhole is the same as a black hole. But since you found something that says that black holes and white holes are the same, then i guess a wormhole is both.

what I find interesting about wormholes though is that it's based on a 2d (folded over ) plane

so if it's 2-d then how the heck are we 3d? or possibly the wormhole has something to do with the 4th+  dimension

I've noticed that on other threads, but I wasn't sure about this one.

Science can be confusing.  :?

EDIT: Anyone see the movie Flat Land? It's about how a 2D Square and Hexagon figures out the secrets of the 3D world. It's a really good animated movie, you guys should see it sometime.

I saw a movie just like that, It was called "Little Billy and the Mervin Street Sluts".
Billy was the square and the 3d world was a vagina.

Yeah, thats great gdkn, but that isn't relevant at all

anyway another ting about that picture, If that represents a wormhole, wouldnt that mean our universe is round? like a huge ass planet, and if the universe IS a huge ass planet. then what the F is beyond it(even if it isn't a planet)? another thing that bothers me is that they represent slace with a Green 2D grid, what is that supposed to mean?

No you can clearly see the universe is a giant 8.

Stephen Hawking is often spoofed   .

The space outside the universe may be a space real DAMN HOTTER THAN HOT or vice versa, which is the boundary of two L1 universes (my earlier post explains that - Level1 Level2 Level3 blah blah.)

Haha Multiverse is a game.

And about that wormhole/black thing - there are 3 theoretical shapes of the universe and will also determine the wormholes' shape.(this WIKI link).

If the universe is a sphere - then the wormholes' path are straight and the universe seems like a giant planet - the wormhole is from one point of the universe to another with its center can be along the "core" of the universe. In traveling there - you are being sucked to the "center" of the universe, then ejected to the other side of the universe.

If flat - what's that....the wormhole will look like a mug's handle and the gravity is massive at the outermost edge of the "mug's handle" - the center of the wormhole. A traveler moves faster inside the wormhole here than above.

If hyperbolic - it's like the flat universe but more massive gravity at the wormhole's center. And traveling there is fastest.

I can't imagine that universe can be curved - so I still believe in multiverses. They look reasonable to me.

Sadly we can't tell because they are only theoretical.  :|
