It's there, the Wart battle plays.

Also, I don't know why there is the airship theme in the [s:1yjbdbxp]platform[/s:1yjbdbxp] cloud... catagory.

alright, do you guys mind if i add those and change the category selections as well?

Alright, here is the fixed version of the musicpack. added tracks are:

SMW Castle
SMB2 Boss battle
SMB3 Athletic.

I do not want to add more smw musics due to the fact that we can grab those out of MrMr's SMwarld mod very easily, thus in addition i do not really feel like making a world music pack as well now.

I hope you people like this new improved pack with better category-music lists and 3 more tracks.
The Zip is round about 5.3 MB large, thus i uploaded it on Filefactory, which is according to Kingpepe a quick server to download stuff from.

Do not worry, the music is edited well and the looping is not interrupted by any unwelcomened side-sounds. It's quite a good feeling to have so many tracks avialable for this game instead of just 5 of them :P

Standard Enhanced.zip (http://http://www.filefactory.com/file/3ca09c)

ENJOY! :D

I would suggest to get full sountracks that Nintendo used to release. I assume we want SNES quality rather than fully revamped tracks as well.

These tracks are all taken from SM Allstars and SMW, so they are SNES quality indeed, or do i get you wrrong there somehow (Stupid German :P)

What I was saying is that Nintendo usually released two original sound tracks for each game. One with the SNES quality music and one with revamped music. More high quality than SNES with actual instruments. I was just saying that we probably want to get the whole original sountracks which usually had all of the songs. But we want the SNES quality rather.

so uh

why were we going to bloat the filesize with even more music again
Title: Re: the additional music pack
Post by: General Guy on May 22, 2008, 03:21:59 PM
uh, the title sais it's additional -.- meaning it doesn't come along with the normal game and has to be downloaded seperately -.-
I just tried to be nice...

yeah that just kinda blew over my head

since.. yeah

the filesize is always growing (and turn mentioned he's on his third attempt to download the thing) so I just get paranoid with the 56k users (since i was once a 56k user i can feel their pain)

I've gotta say, I like the additional music pack.
It's one of the better optional music sets out there, in my opinion.  It suits the game well, but for some reason, it seems like there's more "oomph" to the music than there originally was.
I still use it instead of the Standard pack, though.

It's pretty good, and I love hearing the other songs from All-Stars. The only things I see wrong with it are:

~M3_Airship is a bit loud

~needs more SMB3 Hammer Bro battle! :D

You also forgot the SMW Boss battle music... and I'm sure you could get a loop out of the Bowser fight music... whether it's with or without the intro would be up to you.  I'd go for no intro, personally.

that would make 5 tracks in the boss battle category, and i 'd like to have just 4 tracks for each category max :P

Oh, didn't know there was a limit on the tracks.  Oh well.  It'd be a nice addition anyways, though.
