Title: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on August 07, 2014, 04:36:16 PM
UPDATE: Shortcut to Asgardreid's Smash Project (http://72dpiarmy.supersanctuary.net/index.php?topic=10921.msg202112#msg202112)!

Hi!

Anybody here?

No?

Great. That's fine. I was just over here cookin' up some skins again for the first time in -- what, five years? Six years? Five -- Six years. Cool. The thing is, I've been suffering the Smash 4 fever something fierce, and what better way to ease off the hype than by pitting some Smash characters against each other in SMW? That's, uh, what I've been doing. Drawing Smash characters (along with some appealing Smash candidates) as skins and then um... yeah.

SO HERE WE GO!

I'm not going to repost every skin from my old topic (http://72dpiarmy.supersanctuary.net/index.php?topic=8870.0), because there are way too many and most of them weren't too hot. But I'd definitely like to bring back a few of the old gang. Beforehand, though, let's get some things out of the way:
Well, who cares? On to the returning skins!

Excellent! Since i'm trying to save all the forum stuff in a single huge folder, in case of things going down again, this is really a pleasant surprise. But say, so you don't want to repost all of the old skins, right? Well, it's a shame because i would really like to get the Froslass and Twinkle ones. :/
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on August 08, 2014, 11:21:34 AM
Happy to oblige! I'm not planning on dumping most of the other old skins (though I might bring back a few more), but any skin of mine is readily available on request, except for the ones I made for the Halloween edition which may have disappeared completely. Too bad. I seem to remember putting together a pretty bitchin' Cthulhu.

Anyway, here are Twinkle and Froslass. I can't really see the appeal of this Twinkle skin (tbh I don't even remember what franchise she's from) but Froslass still looks okay, I think.

Oh, really thanks! I needed these two so much!

Don't worry about the HWE skins, i managed to save them all. In fact, i am planning to create a Rar file with all the stuff i saved, though it will take a while until i organize everything.

Nice new skins! I've enjoyed Lucario so far!

So no one is here?

...good... I will request!! HAHAHAHA!!!

...as you enjoy some Megaman, Pokémon and Danganronpa...

it will be an honor if you do Blizzard Buffalo, Simisage and Sakura Oogami. Yeah.
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on August 08, 2014, 09:23:36 PM
Oh, I wouldn't want to tread on your DR territory. Actually, I was thinking of suggesting that you tackle Oogami along with Nidai, since their bulky frames would probably fit a square canvas better than their skinny classmates.

But, sure, Blizzard Buffalo looks like a fun challenge. And Simisage, well, I can manage that too.

In the meantime, here's one I previewed all the way back in July 12, 2008 (http://72dpiarmy.supersanctuary.net/index.php?topic=8870.msg170299#msg170299), but never finished. In fact, I couldn't find a draft of this anywhere, so I had to reconstruct the skin from the preview image I posted there. Worth it. Didn't change a pixel on the standing pose. Cutest little evil sorcerer/pig-man ever.

(Also, I edited the Geno skin. His eyes were the wrong color, I can't believe I didn't notice. They should be red when he's on the blue team, so secondary color it is.)

Today, an old fighter returns to the fold -- but not in his original form. I had a skin for this guy dating back all the way to late 2007, but it's no longer very good by my current standards. I wanted him to return to SMW as much as I want him to return to Smash, so I give you the new and improved...

Really good! Now that's an improvement!

I will keep both the new and old versions, because why not? Since you're giving priority to Smash Bros related skins, do you plan to bring back the Kirby forms?
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on August 11, 2014, 10:05:23 AM
Oh yeah! What with the Smash theme, I guess there's no reason to keep Kirby on the bench. Here's a new version with some slight remodelling (I didn't like the way he didn't bob down while walking) and a major color overhaul. The monochrome palette of the original was bothering me a lot, and this pink-colored version looks a lot better in the red team.

I'll have to see about bringing back the hats, too. Actually, it'd be fun to make a Kirby hat for every other SMW character I draw... That'd be quite a project, though.

Anyway, I've got one more skin to get out of my system, and then it's on to Hinatediz' requests. (Or do you prefer to go by Greasiggy?)

Post by: 108Specter on August 11, 2014, 10:49:19 AM
Maybe the hats will be more fun than difficult to do.

I suppose that this "one more skin" is Ike?

Hinatediz, Greasiggy, Blizzard Bufallo, Edo or Iggy-san, as he is known. I second his requests, since i like to collect MagaMan and Pokemon skins.
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on August 11, 2014, 10:52:14 AM
No, this next skin is an all-new one! I do feel bad about Ike. His stand pose is pretty good and appropriately hulking, but I hate his jump pose, it looks silly. If I bring him back, it'll be with a partial or complete revamp.

This next skin is an assist trophy in SSB4 who could totally have been a playable character. Next time, maybe.

Eh, Blizzard Buffalo was one of those skins where all the effort went into designing the standing pose. At that point, the sprite was so dense that I tried to edit it as little as I could get away with for the other poses, hence why it didn't take that long overall. Same for the likes of Torterra. It kind of works for them, though. Gives 'em a heavy, plodding feeling in battle.

Asgardreid sir, you are a magician! One request already made in such relative short period and with amazing results! I can't wait for the other two, and i have to agree that Greninja is a weird choice to put in SB, but since it's a Pokemon, i'm not to complain.

Thanks!

WOOP WOOP

Getting the color balancing just right on this one was a nightmare, but her form was surprisingly easy to put together. I left out her staff due to space, though she does carry in her shield. Also, she's got the glowing energy halo and wing things (???) in her jump pose, but they're not all that visible, so I decided to bring them front and center for the crash pose.

I'll get to Ashley soon, but I couldn't let the occasion pass me up. Since this fighter was confirmed to return for Smash 4 today, let's bring him back to SMW as well. I had an old version of this skin dating back to early 2008, but the color distribution was all wrong (seriously, holy shit) and I just generally didn't like the shape of him. So here, have a better version.

Two more skins. No big deal. One of them's only a mild revamp of an old fighter and the other one was very easy to put together. Here's Duskull back from the grave. He's not exactly Smash material, but I think the door's pretty much open to Pokemon at this point, and Duskull was a pretty fine old skin (originally submitted with the Halloween pack). But apparently I didn't realize that he only has one eye bouncing around in his skull. With that and a couple other minor edits, here he is.

As for the all-new skin, it's Tac from the Kirby franchise, soon to show up as an enemy in Smash Run! I was still in a Kirby mood after Meta Knight, and this guy was no challenge to draft. Watch out for that big ol' snatchy hand when he jumps.

Funny thing, i never noticed that the old version of Duskull had two eyes until you pointed up.

This Tac enemy from Kirby, is he some sort of tanuki robber?

I think he's just a cat, but he's a robber all right. Almost like some kind of cat burglar (http://kirby.wikia.com/wiki/Tac). In Kirby Super Star (the only Kirby game I've played all the way through and it's so wonderful oh wow), he'll shoot out that big snatchy hand, steal your helper, and kidnap them in his sack! You have to defeat him before he escapes to free your helper or they're lost for good.

Now he is pissed off about players reseting SMW plays.

As you are free again, shall you do now Classic Arcade/SNES Sabrewulf (as i've done XBO Sabrewulf) and Jedah from DarkStalkers?

I was waiting Jedah to join the war... but it's kinda hard to do it.

Hmm... I think I'll pass on Sabrewulf, dude, sorry. The character doesn't really do anything for me, and you've already made a great skin for him. But Jedah, definitely! I'd never heard of DarkStalkers before, but that's a sweet design. I'd love to take a stab at him.

In the meantime, Kirby hats! Some old (though revised), some new. No previews, I think they're pretty self-explanatory. (I will say, though, that all of these except Ninja were designed to look right on the red team. Ninja is oriented for blue.)

Okay, so that nifty design of Jedah's turned out to be really friggin' difficult to represent as a skin. I'm not that satisfied with this result, but I'm posting it anyway as a first draft at least, just to get him off my mind. He looks really messy if you ask me, but at least while in motion his physique comes across a little more clearly.

Sorry for almost a week of silence! Family was in town and I've been pretty busy. Let's get back into it.

Man, Greasiggy, you sure like Adeleine/Ado, don't you? I'm not entirely convinced they're not supposed to be the same character, but no worries -- here are both. I tried to distinguish them by giving Ado slightly darker skin and clothing, besides the eye and hair differences. Also, she's splattering around a different color of paint than Adeleine.

As for your other requests, I'm not sure about Nitori... Her design is very appealing, but I dunno if such overtly anime-styled characters like the Touhou cast are the right fit for my skills. You and Specter would probably do much better Touhou skins than I could manage.

Peacock, though -- now there's a damn cool design! Should definitely be skinnable. I'd love to try her out.

I'm digging the skins. Very well done like you use to do back in the day. I especially love the team skins, the one's like Rosalina and Ice Climbers. You should do more of those. Suggestions, Sonic and Tails, Mario Bros., Lololo and Lalala, just to name a few. (I'm not making these suggestions because I want to see those characters, I'm just giving ideas because I like the teammate skins in general)

Hey, MC Jimmy! Good to see you again. Yeah, I like the dual characters too. I did already make both Mario and Sonic skins at some point, and could have uploaded them to go with the Smash theme, but I don't think either one is too great... if I revamp them, I'll keep your tag-team suggestions in mind. And as for Lololo & Lalala, yeah, I can definitely do them!

By the way, 108Specter, yeah, I was thinking of doing a male Wii Fit trainer sometime later on. And Greasiggy, I'm currently drafting that Peacock skin.

In the meantime, here are a few Animal Crossing villagers I popped out. AC villagers will probably show up quite a bit since it's easy to put together the basic templates for each species and fun to modify them to create the individuals. I started off with a cat, a dog, and a bird: Monique (http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Monique), Shep (http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Shep), and Jay (http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Jay).

I would say that Lucas is in the bad end of this consolation fight, but then i noticed the score. XD

Good job again. It's only a suggestion, but maybe, you should do Porky Minch next, since his body frame is similar to that of Lucas and Ness.
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on September 26, 2014, 03:47:11 PM
Haha, I set the lives to "unlimited" to get a screenshot of that four-CPU fight. It seems with unlimited lives, the game scores deaths starting from 0 instead of lives starting from the maximum, so that shot actually means Lucas had already died twice. Poor kid. He tries really hard, though.

Yeah, Porky Minch could be good! Of course, the temptation would be for me to try to draw him inside that big ol' mechanical spider vehicle thing, and then Porky himself wouldn't be anywhere to the scale of Lucas and Ness. He'd be tiny. Actually, an artist named Zhagdon pitched an idea on Smashboards for a playable Porky model (http://s268.photobucket.com/user/Zhadgon/media/Porky-Minch-Smash-Bros_zps6a48bd37.png.html) that incorporates some of the spider gadgetry onto his body Doctor Octopus-style. Now that would've been a cool idea for a third Mother rep.

But instead... WE LOST LUCAS

i'm not mad

That decrease in the number of characters is just because of the 3DS limitations, right? It's a shame...

Maybe you should do both regular Porky and his machine. And perhaps, that statue of him in Brawl.

By the way, it's really a weird question, but i have noticed that your skins weigh 18,1 KB, opposed othe 18,0 KB of most skins. Is there a reason for this? I'm just curious, since this KB thing always made me ponder when i was editing o wikis.
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on September 26, 2014, 04:16:55 PM
That's the reasoning for why the Ice Climbers were cut, at least. Which is more upsetting the more you consider that Sakurai's commitment to making the 3DS and Wii U rosters identical is a bad idea. I'm with Etika (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0buDtKz6GGQ&t=3m48s) on this one. That video catches him in an uncharacteristically bad mood, but his point is hard to refute: why limit the Wii U's content based on the 3DS's restrictions when the Wii U is the console that badly needs extra sales? The 3DS is doing fine, why not give people a little extra incentive to draw them toward the Wii U?

i'm not mad

But Wolf and Lucas wouldn't have posed a problem for the 3DS's hardware, evidently there just wasn't enough time to include them. Maybe they'll make it in as DLC, a topic on which Sakurai's sent some major mixed messages. Snake, I dunno. I'd like to see him back, but since he's a third-party character he's got a whole different stack of issues to deal with.

Anyway, back to skins. Yeah, I know what you mean, they always show up as 19KB for me. I do all my spriting in Gimp these days and there are a lot of options when exporting a Gimp file to .bmp, but I haven't found a combination of choices that lands right on 18KB. 19KB is the closest I can manage, which at least is fine for the game. If anyone ever happens to read this message who knows from Gimp, maybe they can correct me.

Ice Climbers... why?

*Cries epically sad*

Anyways... *sob*

I came to request ANOTHER interesing thing...

Not Dragon Ball, Not Saint Seiya, Not Naruto, Not One Piece, Not Fairy Tail, NOT OTHER THING...

JUST YU YU HAKUSHO!!! *fiery flames start to fire on my eyes, pure childhood*

If not more to day... i whould like to request Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama and Hiei. YES SIR!

...or...

alternatively Susanoomon, KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon. If the request above is too much.

Yeah, I... I dunno about those Yu Yu Hakusho requests. Probably gonna pass on those. I don't know much about the show or have any attachment to it, and you'd probably make better skins for them yourself.

But Digimon, yeah, I can't say no to Digimon! I mean, they're practically Pokemon, right? So they totally belong. I must say, though, you're reaching right for the top shelf with those requests. KaiserGreymon, MagnaGarurumon and KaiserGreymon have some complicated-ass designs! Maybe I'll warm up with some simpler Digimon before trying to take on those behemoths. You have anyone in mind? I'm thinking about doing the evolution line for my favorite Rookie and Mega: Mushroomon-Woodmon-Cherrymon-Puppetmon...

Would really love to see you bring all your really cool skins back. Loved your then-latest (2014) Mewtwo. Looked a lot like the original article. I actually created a version of Mewtwo myself, a while back (but used it in a Super Mario World mod, not for Super Mario War). It was pretty good, but not as good as yours looked. Dude, that thing was awesome! I WANT IT! NOW!!! LOL

Your Mewtwo skin is absolutely awesome, but I have a weird problem--his color scheme is still inverted when I insert him into my skins folder and use him on SMW. His main color is purple instead of white, and he has a white belly, eyes and tail. It works as a "shadow" variant (same color scheme as Shadow Lugia).

I did end up creating my own Mewtwo skin, with proper color scheme, but it doesn't have any shading (I went for a more cartoon-like appearance, as well as tried to give Mewtwo a cute and chubby build; I think I succeeded).

I'm not sure what the problem could be with my Mewtwo... Are you definitely using the default palette? Did you try downloading any of my other skins, and if so, do they also look weird?

Do you like men? (Who doesn't??) Then this post is for you.

No disrespect to Hazey, but I never much liked his tiny little Mega Man skin. I've tried out a version of my own, and ended up with one of my favorite recent skins. He's got a great posture in the standing frame.

Yay! More Mega Man!

The funny thing about your Bombermen skins is that they indeed ressemble both the old and new styles

Now you could make Black Bomber and the Yellow-Blue-Red-Green Bombers as palette swaps, much like Greninja and Shiny Greninja

By the way, i don't remember if i asked you before, but do you keep both new and old versions of a skin?

Of course! I've never deleted an older skin of mine, to my knowledge. Even the dumber requests from back in the day. ("Heat Mario! It's Heat Man... but he's also Mario!")

Black Bomberman should be easy, but I'm not sure about the others, I'm getting mixed results from Google Images. Sometimes they look one way, sometimes another. Can you post an image(s) of exactly what you have in mind?

A, but Heat Mario is so great! I usually pretend that your Heat Man skin is just Mario in disguise, haha

Yes, i know that sometimes they have unique looks, but it's just because there are two characters with the same name. The 4 Bombermen i'm talking about are just the classic ones that follow Black:

(http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/bomberman/images/f/f2/RedBombermanPCEsprite.png/revision/latest?cb=20120604004156)(http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/bomberman/images/b/b1/GreenBombermanPCEsprite.png/revision/latest?cb=20120604005113)(http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/bomberman/images/b/b5/YellowBombermanPCEsprite.png/revision/latest?cb=20120604001644)(http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/bomberman/images/0/0a/BlueBombermanPCEsprite.png/revision/latest?cb=20120604004502)

In fact, they can all be merged into just one skin, a basic "Team-Colored" Bomberman

Yes, that's it! Thank you again!

About the Devas, you should begin with Vikaralamon the Boar, as his design is the simplest one

I actually did! His design is both simple and my favorite. (Well, Makuramon's great, too.)

Haven't finished scoping out his proportions though. I'll keep on it.

Good! Another suggestion, maybe your old Rayquaza skin could be used as a base to Sandiramon the Snake

Yeah, maybe... That old Rayquaza skin is showing its years, I'm not sure if that was the best solution to the problem of how to represent a serpentine design in SMW.

Speaking of old skins... Three revamps today! Back in the old thread, I had a request for a few versions of Mario, but I never liked the design I came up with then: it had horrible proportions and was weirdly over-shaded. I could've left it in the rubbish, but another one of the versions was Dr. Mario, and I think he deserves something on SMWStuff, being back in Smash and all. So I revisited the Mario skin. Of course, we've already got plenty of Mario skins on there, but I tried to bring something unique to the table by focusing on capturing his portly stature.

And here's the new and improved Dr. Mario, gruff eyebrows and all. That old version was really just... unrecognizable. (Though I kept the fun idea of having Megavitamins go flying out of his coat in his jump and crash poses.)

I never thought my original Lucario skin was bad - actually, he's got a nice posture - but I wanted a version with more emphasis on his head (and some color correction). I'm trying to steer away from 90-degree profile skins in favor of the more picturesque 45-degree angle, so Lucario was sticking out to me. The old skin's still pretty fine and some might prefer to keep that version, but here's an alternate option. (Personally, I really like the new jumping pose.)

Thanks a ton in that case! I'd like to request Shulk, from Xenoblade Chronicles (and Smash 4 of course). Thanks for your consideration.

Ooh yeah, I've thought about him! The only thing that's been holding me back so far is the palette; I'd really like to get that particular shade of pink for his outfit. I might end up doing a "special" version with an off-palette pink color (I don't like going off-palette, but it seems justified this time) and a "regular" team-colored version as an alternative offering. In any case, I'll definitely get on this since you've asked. Thanks for the request!

Ordinarily I'm shy about realistic human figures (even my recent Palutena and Robin skins strike me as a bit off), but this guy came together really well! I'm satisfied with how he turned out. The default version uses a couple off-palette shades of pink, and the alternate version replaces them with primary colors.

I'm asking... something...

Can you make Diddy, Dixie, Kiddy and Cranky like SuperWario done with DK skin?
Title: Re: Asgardreid's Hand-Drawn Skins 2014: The Changing of the 'Gard
Post by: asgardreid on April 29, 2015, 07:36:15 AM
Hey! Do you mean, trying to create Diddy etc. skins that fit the aesthetic of that DK skin? That sounds tough... I've never tried to match an existing style before. However, I really love and respect those SuperWario skins (man, that guy had talent), so it'd be an interesting challenge...

But I almost might as well just make my own DK skin too to fill out the set. You know what I mean?

Well, not exactly. I'm meaning if you can create some skins for them so DK whould'nt be alone anymore

I understand about making your DK skin too, go for it.

I'm really impressed by these skins. I remember picking some of the ones from the OP for the game, like Falcon or the Ice Climbers. I can't believe how good these are for a sprite so small. I wish I could draw this well instead of just using sprites from other places.  :P

I don't have any ideas for requests right now.

Ah, thanks a lot! You're very kind.

I've got another skin revamp today. Actually it's a revamp of the first skin I made in returning to the board back in 2014, so the cycle of my self-consuming dissatisfaction is growing faster than ever before. The good news is, since fluffypillow upgraded SMWStuff, I can crank out revamps like George Lucas cranks out special editions of Star Wars.

This guy's rather poor likeness was already starting to embarrass me a bit, so here's an improved version.

Thanks, G2X! I agree, the old one was dodgy. Really glad fluffypillow's change to SMWStuff took away any disincentive to freely revamp skins. Speaking of which, even though this one wasn't already on SMWStuff, here's another revamp, one that I've thought was necessary for quite some time.

(Click any of the above icons for that character's SMWStuff link, if I've uploaded it there.)

I've always had a confessed bias in favor of Smash-related characters and properties, and since I'm about halfway already to making skins for the whole extended Smash roster, why not go all the way? So I'm going to try to make a point of completing skins for every playable character who's ever appeared in Smash. Exceptions: Young Link (because who cares), Pokemon Trainer (instead I'll do individual skins for his three Pokemon), and the Mii Fighters (though I really should resurrect the Mii skins). Also, alt-costume characters like Alph aren't officially included.

That's not to say I won't happily take any other requests, but if there's a Smash character you'd particularly like to see in SMW, now's the time to ask!

(Wow, looking at the above table, I really do just love me some quirky third-string Nintendo franchises, huh? And hate franchises featuring realistic humans? That's something to work on, I guess.)

Agreed. I did a skin for him on request back in early 2008, but it was mega-crappy, we're talking pretty much just a furry Mario. By the time I got to Wolf in May of that year, Fox was already unrecognizably awful in comparison. I'll definitely give him a better effort this time!

I'd been leery about taking on Link, but I don't know why. Really, really happy with how his standing pose came out. And since he got me in the appropriate mood...

The old Toon Link was never a horrible skin, and I like the bold move to draw him with no outlines in order to get across the cel-shaded concept. But the color distribution was bafflingly silly, and there were other aspects - such as getting those cat-like eyes - that I wanted to improve as well. I didn't know whether this one was going to end up being a total revamp, but indeed it did.

Updated the Mediafire zip, too.

I really like how Duck Hunt turned out. The fourth pose was so clever.

This is my first time in a long time. Pardon the Request but could you do a Krystal Skin? (You know, from Star Fox Assault with the clothes changing colors to represent the Team Colors.)

Thanks a lot for the request! Hit a slow patch lately because of a new dog and some other developments, but I'll try to get back into it. I was working on the Fox request and a few other characters before slowing down, so I'll add Krystal to the list.

As you'll see if you view the comparison image below... This Fox is quite a bit different from the version I made in 2007. That one really was one of my worst efforts. I've read back and it looks as though the requester, Meracket, was the one to ask that Fox be drawn in a style reminiscent of 4matsy's Mario skin, but... I must have taken him too literally. P... Pardon me for even allowing that old skin to show its face around here.

I took a big chance in trying to emulate a specific pose of his from the Smash series (http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/ag4ylb1srfvdebkju8kl.jpg) instead of a generic standing pose. Getting the walk animation to look all right took some doing, but I'm reasonably satisfied with the result. The original skin was one of my better efforts for that time, but looks a little silly now, especially with his weirdly squashed jump pose, so I preferred to redraw him completely.

My girlfriend's favorite Smash character hits SMW! As with Ike, I was trying to hit a couple of specific poses for her standing (http://techgeek.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/LucinaSmash-640x354.png) and jumping (http://www.geeksnack.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Fire-Emblem-Awakening.jpg) frames. It's a fun challenge.

A Pac-Man revamp? Yeah... the original skin was one of the first ones I made for the return last year and it definitely shows signs of my old outline-heavy style, with the boots especially suffering a lot. As you can see, this isn't a full redraw, just a revamping to bring him more in line with my current style.

I have! I wanted to do a sprite where the Inkling would walk as a human and jump as a squid. But after multiple tries I couldn't get the squid looking good at all, so the Inkling went on the shelf. I'll have to give her another go.

Try with the Inkling sprites from Super Mario Maker. It sure will give you an idea.

Sure, I'll give Dante a shot. And no, I'm still gonna try to finish my Inkling skin, don't worry. Funnily enough, the one I was working on was the girl, so since you've done the boy, that works.
