Title: A quick little MAME announcement
Post by: Turndawg107 on December 15, 2010, 04:11:18 PM
This isn't helping my "shmup" stigma, but I feel it's worth mentioning.  Over the past weekend a few guys succeeded in running a couple of Cave's second generation games.  While the audio is slightly buggy, both games are fully playable.  Anyhow, here they are:

DoDonpachi: Dai Ou Jou

The successor to DoDonpachi and its lesser known sequel, DDP2: Bee Storm, this one is most definitely Cave's toughest game in this series.

Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi

Often regarded as Cave's climax, this frantically fast-paced shooter won't disappoint.  The game is relentless, yet somehow addictive beyond belief.
